DJ Ivory of the P Brothers just blessed me with the A-side of their next single, featuring none other than the notorious Money Boss Players, who have now paired down to Eddie Cheeba and Trey-Bag (from the “Killed In The Crap Game” line-up of MC’s that included Lord Tariq, Big-Ah and C. Dubb) and have flipped the name into the Boss Money Gangsters. The B-side is another Money Boss feature called “Blam Blam For Nottingham”, and will be dropping at the end of March on Heavy Bronx.

If you’ve been sleeping on P Brothers, who are holding it down over in the UK, then you need to check out last years essential Put It On Me feat. Milano b/w Scriptures feat. Smiley The Ghetto Child. Only a handful of New York producers are still bringing it this hardcore in 2006.

Money Boss joint is tight.
Love the zulu beat mix (which is way better than the more popular hear no evil mixes), though.
Who remembers that post-Money Boss group Hy Tymes (basically this incarnation of Money Boss under a different name from 2000) who did that 12″ on Stimulated plus were on the “ka ching” Sadat X cut ?
Comment by Brian Beck From Wisconsin 02.24.06 @yeah feeling this. also worth checking is the new C-Mone LP ‘The Butterfly Effect’ with P Bros production on 1 track (Inside Out) and posse cut ‘The Magnificent 7′ feat. Cappo and 6 other relative unknowns from Notts. Blam Blam!
Comment by AT from Notts,UK 03.21.06 @Flipside “Blam Blam” is solid too. Uses Persuaders’ “Love’s Gonna Pack Up” and then at the end it suddenly turns into the Fun Boy Three.
Paul S still holdin it down for gentlemen’s outfitting.
