Dogg Pound track is hot. Good to see Battlecat still producing bangers. Anyone else think Lakey the Kid sounds a little like Lord Finesse?

Comment by Wes 07.06.06 @

Should’ve realised that.

Eric Sherman?

Dude.

That title is HI-LARIUM.

Washed up rapper phase.

How about 10 ways to know that you are a washed up emcee.

I might have to post about that.

Why do all these new wave mixtapes feature washed up artists dumbing down their shit to sound relevant or bullshit new artists that no one over 16 gives a fuck about spittin tired thug raps and wack metaphors?

I might be one of the few people who actually likes that Cormega and Lakey track (tho the flipside for that single, “dirty game” is way better), that said I would consider the rest of that comp mostly garbage. Keepin my fingers crossed on the Cormega/Lake lp thing being good

Def Squad – most undesirable comeback ever. I wince every time I hear Erick Sermon production from that Def Squad era – muddy rubbish

Comment by Drewhuge 07.10.06 @

so wait… how do you pronounce the record label again?

Comment by gstatty 07.14.06 @

Ah. Although I know it’s probably wack. Why do I still want to hear it though? lol

Comment by Dayrell 07.14.06 @

As much as I love Red Man and Keith Murray and even the first Sermon joint. I pray that they don’t do another Def Squad album. Althought the remake of Rapper’s Delight was hot.
