Here’s an early Q&A with Preme that ran in The Source back in July 1991. Guess he never sent that D.U. remix, huh?

Wonder why a Primo / BDK collaboration didn’t happen around that time? Guess Kane was too caught up in trying to be Hip-Hop’s Barry White. Or did it and I missed it?
Comment by bedouin 08.30.06 @He did “Show & Prove” on the otherwise horrible Daddy’s Home album, but that wasn’t until around 1994.
Comment by Robbie 08.30.06 @nice. thanks! wouldn’t mind hearing that demo or any other Gang Starr demos.
Don’t forget “any type of way”, released 2-3 years back, which didn’t really live up to the expectations of a Kane/Preemo reunion

Back then hardly any track lived up to the (high)expectation of a Primo production. But the man’s been doing some good work lately. Not as exciting as what he did in the mid nineties though.
