This is old news to Vinyl Exchange heads, but for everyone else:

The classic Freestyle Professors EP is getting released as part of an official album! Here’s the news:

This project will be limited to 500 copies, pressed on double-vinyl from the original masters, and packaged in a picture sleeve. The sound quality will be better than that featured on the OG EP and the recent Japanese bootleg which, contrary to some rumours, was not taken from the master tapes (nor was it done with their knowledge).

This will be a one-off pressing. When they are gone, they are gone.

The album will feature 16 tracks including:

* The entire original EP (8 tracks)
* 4 unreleased tracks from 93-94
* 2 unreleased instrumentals (Get Wise and Hardcore Villain Get Put On)
* 2 brand new tracks, one produced by Show and the other by Branesparker

All the LP’s will be hand-numbered and singed by the artists (Branesparker, Don Q and Fox).

The price will be $100 per copy. I will be the sole distributor of this item through the website www.freestyleprofessors.com

Here’s a new track they’ve recorded recently, which will appear on a 6-8 track EP of all-new material ready to drop around October and available for around $10, while the limited edition Your Pocket’s Been Picked 2xLP should drop in September.

Freestyle Professors - Hear What I Hear

In other Bronx news, it seems that Tim Dog‘s BX Warrior has come out, although I haven’t seen a copy yet. Regardless, thanks to End Level Boss for lacing me with this cut featuring the Ultramagnetic:

noz luhs him some ‘kast.

In my attempt to think up an original contest idea, I lost sight of the fact that the whole idea of a competition is to involve as many people as possible. As it turns out, my search for the a fellow “multi-format maniac” didn’t exactly produce a flood of responses, since only a certified rap junkie would actually bother to pick up every format of an album (especially when there aren’t even bonus tracks on offer). Unsuprisingly, this particular sicko turned-out to be Whoola Master noz from Coke Blunts, who demonstrated his appreciation for all things Outkast in the above flick. I’m guessing he won’t be picking up any Little Brother vinyl with his 33Third voucher though.
