Bigup NYOIL, I ain't on Myspace or I would've mssgd him.

He deserves so much more exposure, but with what he's saying I don't think the 'industry' really wants anything like this to ever blow up.

If you changed one person's way of thinking it was worth it.

These motherfkrs are polluting children's minds-look how easily adults are influenced by the bullshit and then think what it actually does to kids, after decades of constant bombardment with the foulest shit imaginable added to a nice beat.

Good video and very true. However, when i see people like Ladi B-More aka Choklita reply with her terroristic crap, then I get upset. She is no different the NWA wanting to kill, kill, kill.

I am discusted with Racism, I am discusted that we see eachother as a color and not a human.

I am just now hearing this and I am glad someone finally said it. I dont listen to mainstream hip-hop because i am SICK OF IT. Those people are out of their damn minds. Its crazy. To think a lot of them have children and you have to wonder what the hell do they teach them. When black men disrespect black women its sickining. They act as if they are heartless bastards who dont care about anything or anyone. All they care about is money and bling. They dont care that no other race on earth has any respect for them. They are a waste of air and body mass. You are right they should ALL BE LYNCHED. How the hell can you live with no soul.

I like the effective message of what this bruhda had to say about the state of the Black mind. But I wouldn't have used a term like lynch that only reinforces the concept even when he uses it metaphorically in view of lost bruhda's and sista's. This type of approach will only encourage racist hate groups to feel more justified about making a similar song and video were they want black ppl to be lynched because they weren't born white and not because they are ignorant, lost, and unconcern about how there lack of self-respect destroys the community which is what NYOIL's message covers... also the word nigga spelled any kind of way should not be seen by blacks as a love word because we changed the spelling and the way it is pronounced as a means to devalue its original intent, the way you devalue something is by discarding it completely (give it to the trash can).

Any how, I see a lot of ppl have been comparing this song to De la's stakes is high and Ras Kass Soul on Ice... I thought these albums were very instrumental in giving Black ppl the wake up call... I didn't see these albums as being over ppl's head, when these albums dropped ppl were still wanting to hear songs that they could dance to. The style of music these artist had on these albums weren't the type of songs to dance to in view of mainstream marketing...

Which is why these albums received very little airplay nationwide, not because of a too indepth message, when rappers deal with coporate america it is definitely about the numbers and what makes the units multiply.

So, lets face it, a lot of ppl are content with just getting by, revolution is easy to talk about, but not all are willing to take action for equality and respect. Some ppl are simply unaware of the nature of the threat... because they come from backgrounds of poor role models. like produces like...

9 times out of 10, dysfunctional families produce more dysfunctional families... until someone comes into the realization that they are ignorant and want to make a change for the better... much respect to all the heads that are awake! and are about Self-Mastery and not being mastered by others... HTP!

THE LANGUAGE WAS ROUGH but I do appreciate NY OIL's art in rhyme and the way he's smackin the "perceptionally" ignorant rappers. IT'S ABOUT TIME someone said something about the mental state of Hip Hop Music. By these record labels puttin money behind the ignorance in Rap music it decreases Rap Music's power and unity amongst us Black people. I hope he TRULY continues to "WAKE US UP" cause we have been babboozled,Hoodwinked and run amuck with excepting this Hyphy Movement,I'm supa Hard,Ignorant Music. You know this whole situation is a Spiritual Attack from hell by just looking at how Record Sales have been down for last 7 years and Record labels STILL ain't tryin to promote or Push anything positive or uplifting... With that said it ain't about the money!!!!With music being such a critical part of human life that can take your spirit up,down,in and out of love the Major and Minor Record labels have aided this Spiritual Attack in mentally, and musically "stunnin" our youths minds & souls. NY OIL is a necessary call unto each of us to OPEN OUR EYE's and Die if necessary to Live Righteously again. If you feelin me Holla at myspace.com/qgodfear
Peace be with you and yours!

The language was a bit much but sadly it is the truth. Black people are so beautiful and strong yet we display ourselves just like the video showed: thugs, sluts, and just pure ignorant. This video is too true!

I didn't have time to read 444 comments, but heres what i said over at brokebboys.com

its obviously a metaphor, he doesn’t mean lets hang black folk again, what he does mean is that hip hop culture, and the artitists in the forefront need to take responsibility for what they say, do and portray, i mean all those other rappers he mentioned at the end, they actually have some shit to say besides money cars hoes guns clothes diamonds[which actual folk from Africa mine for petty cash in sierra leone and south Africa] i’m never one to talk badly about hip hop, in fact most of the time i feel like i have to explain that not all hip hop is “that way” and that there is intelligence in the genre, and that it has to do with culture, with art, with rhythm, with breaking, with poppin and locking and the feeling you get when you hear some next shit or hear something that speaks [immortal technique, zach de la rocha, pe, krs, etc] to you, and yeah, these ignoramus tv rappers don’t need to get lynched, but i wish harder than anything that i could slap some of those fools in the face and tell em to read a book, or take a trip to their motherland, look what happened in katrina, or at least try to understand in the slightest of ways how malcom x, marcus garvey, kool herc, martin luther the king, Emperor Haile Selassie I, big daddy kane, rakim, epmd, krs, run dmc, pac, big, dilla, huey p newton, and every truly gully freedom fighter in the struggle paved the way so that they could even have the right to speak, hip hop ain’t dead y’all, hip hop is just continuing to pave its own way between the corporate structures of power which want to exploit it and its independent roots which will nourish its soul but starve its body

To an extent, I think he has a point, but his entire argument generalizes the issue. You can't just grab a whole bunch of rappers and put them all in the same boat because they don't advocate equality. Activism is not for everybody, but he does have a point though. Black people have tolerated too much bullshit, and we don't need the most visible members of the African American community adding more fuel to the fire. True talk NYOIL.

Look f the youtube terms of agreemnet. This point is this song is trying to get a much needed message acroos, and thats flat out. Trust me what you saw wasn't that grasphic because I bet you and your children see shit like that on TV all day and here worst shit then taht on the radio. No I think it's about time someone just told it like it is. It's messed up that when people try and show the real deal and the truth then people want to hate on it and try and find every negative excuse they can to make something positive bad. I don't think the person rapping in the song should be called a bitch ass nigga. becuse he's telling the truth and yopu just don't want to here it you want to go threw life with nothing and be nothing or have delusions of grandeur. What black people need to do is wake the fuck up and see the real picture flat out.Go to shcool and be somebody work for what you want, because thinking that smoking and calling women bithces is a not good. getting people pregnant and not taking care of your child is not cool. but I got a different philosophy I say fuck all the dumb ass muthafuckers in this world you all need your own seperate section where you can kill your self. Did you know that black people die more from gunshots and sexually transmitted diseases. Oh I'm proud to be Black but I am not proud of ignorance and I will prove how there is an abundance in ignorance, just by wathcing the responses to my entry here. You are put to the test to prove your own level of intellect. I commend the artist I think you told what needed to be told,I am glad you didn't sugar coat anything.

That video was incredible!!!! More people, especially rappers need to see it. I am sick and tired of people pretending that the truth is sweet and trying to sugar coat it. Its time to tell the world what we think of our modern day minstrel shows( aka rap videos). We really need to stop condoning this mess. And we wonder why little kids know way too much for their age...... If we keep supporting this mess its only going to get worse.

Well I don't think that this a ignorant song, but I think when trying to make a point or even get it acroos you should think of how you are going to do it, becuase just putting it out there and even though it might be hard honest truth, America is not set to handle such openness. So instead of throwing it out there no matter what, try to change it up where all races receive it mentally, instead of just looking at hatred on a screen.
