If you caught the interview I posted with Marco Polo last week, you might have noticed his mention of the EMC album, which is Masta Ace, Punch, Words and Strick. They just dropped a video to introduce themselves:

I’ll never understand why Ace spends so much time with Punch and Words–other than Shabaam Sadeeq, they are the most mediocre MCs of the Rawkus era.

I think the EMC material is alright but to be honest I am more interested in The Freestyle Professors…that video is ill and PURE Hip Hop and I have always loved that joint, those drums remind of Showbiz in the mid 90′s.

I don’t mind Masta Ace having a new crew, especially with Wordsworth being such an underrated MC. Check out his Mirror Music, which is a dope slept-on album from 2004.

But when is Ace releasing a new solo album??
