e40 is a legend, like a lotta folks said, i agree that “tell me when to go” and most of his latest joints are kinda wack, but how can you really try to come out as a rapper and not recognize someone whose been holding it down for as long as 40 water…(peep Federal, In a Major Way, the Click albums etc) canadians got a identity complex too, and that shit comes out in their music… this dude is bleh…

ehh, i didn’t really feel monch’s last effort, as for e-40, you can’t really talk shit on a legend when you’re not much more than a fruit fly, given, that hyphy/crunk/gimmicky shit just doesn’t do it for me, his older shit is golden, plus he can still drop some proper bars, and if you want to hear some dope beats, check NYG’s new shit welcome 2 g-dom, premo keeyills it, though there are a couple of recycled old beats, the shit still bangs, ri needs to put in more work before he can critique older heads, but i guess everyone has their own opinion

im sure there’s a market for this cat but to me he sounds like just another bitter dude who stopped keeping up with rap in 1997 and got stuck in the rawkus matrix. talking about originality but sounding like every other castro hat rapper. i.e. how did dmx bite 2pac? im not his biggest fan but he did come out with his own steelo. i think he doesnt like x and them because they kept it moving instead of relying on that boom bap sound.
no disrespect of course, just my opinion.

E-40′s latest album had more innovative and dope production then the krs-marley album which sounded kinda rushed I think. Even Hiphopsite’s pizzo rewarded E-40 4 mics.

First of all, whos is “Rugged INtellect” to be coming at E-40. E is a household name, dog.

Secondly, the “no homo” shit is getting out of hand. I’m no homo myself, but the shit just sounds ignorant, and mad suspect if you ask me. Take for instance this cat:
This guy sounds really stiff (no homo), absolutely no swing at all… Lyrics aren’t bad though.
