BREEZE IS TOO UNDERATED.LOVE THAT DUDES VOICE.PRINCE OF THIEVES is one of my favorite lps of all time and inspired me so much even though im a dj and not a mc.Me and my cousin/producer BIG ES have a really ill concept lp dropping for free download with your fav mcs from past to present and I mean LYRICAL MCS!
It saddens me that PRINCE OF THIEVES didnt sell more units. I’d listen to that over the Chronic anyyyyy day.

So right. That song is incredible. A bunch of tracks on that record are really adventurous but don’t quite form up into great songs. “I’m Gonna Kill You” absolutely hits the nail on the head. Superb.

On the subject of a radio station that plays classic rap… once again, Los Angeles is ahead of the game. We have a retro station, KDAY, resurrected from back in the day. Sure, it’s still a corporate radio station with a lot of crap and politics, but it’s living proof that retro-black radio can work.

I agree with you Mercilesz, I would always see Breeze up in Fat Beats on the regular. Breeze is mad cool and is the most humble cat you could ever meet. He is also a walking Hip Hop encyclopedia, every recommendation he made to me was on point at Fat Beats, he always supported other talented artists music and he never once pushed his music over any others. I always supported him and will continue to do so. Peace and respect Breeze! BX stand up!

JiveTalk was my fave off that album…I used to kick it with Breeze at Fat Beats when I was a teenager just talkin about records and stuff not even knowing it was him I was hearing on 89.9 and on the indelible joints….crazy…we was buggin about that last year when i seen him at a party…he’s a real cool dude that never got his due for his lyrics in my eyes…thanks 4 the repost
