This is shows what hip hop was and could be again one day…trying to solve the problems in the middle east or we can just “swing our Louis Rags”.
The fact that this came from NYC is no coincidence either with its intellectual/worldly in terms of lyrics, samples, concepts, etc.
Leave it to the Dirty South to push things backwards…

I think the best thing we can hope for in hip hop (and just music in general) is more thoughtful, unique spirits like Siah. Great interview.

Interesting piece, Nadav is really an interesting part of underground/indie Hiphop and moving forward an important/unique thinker.

The Visualz EP was huge to me when it first came out- i’ve read this and that about what they were up to nowawdays: it’s great to read that Siah has continued in a very progressive path in his own right. Together they made some of the dopest hip-hop that came out back then, completely out of the box and lyrically advanced. Great read!
