Doo Wop is & was the man. It’s wild to me that the Latino cats AGAIN had to be the ones to uphold this side of Hip Hop by dropping mixtapes and real verses that had KNOWLEDGE in them when NY was pushing all that gangsta crap. Wop, Tony ‘Toca’, and Green Lantern were doing the best mixtapes and still do.

Doo Wop’s tapes are priceless to me…the Bounce Squad always brought that heat, especially Lord Tariq and Don Blaq the kid from Trenton, NJ.

Tanqueray ‘instr …….. and they were still looking for him?? It seemed as though most Doo Wop his tapes came out every month…. the good ole days!!

Snagglepuss was nice! i have old tapes of him freestylin. I wanted him to do a solo album.
Doo Wop, is one of the last of that classic vintage new york sound when mixtapes were MIXtapes, (we used to call ‘em “Blends”)
not just a cd of some unreleased songs.
