Black Rob’s third solo album is sure to me, but
Shyne’s comeback 2010, huh ? i hope nevertheless
I can hear funk, psychedelia, tropicalia, blues, electronica, ambient algorythyms… it’s breathtaking how much is distilled in black rob’s raps and yet it never feels cluttered or overdone. Quite the opposite in fact, these songs are a masterful show of restraint and illustrative combustory – in the same way that much of hiphop’ has got self-congratulatory and bogged down by it’s own scene, this b-robb collection seems to be honest, passionate and full of vibrant life, once again. this is a smoked out outgorgeous slice of louge-pop for the ages
