  1. different styles can have a meeting
then the use of this iz discutable

  2. There’s that Marley remix of Let’s Go Crazy by Prince too which was never actually released.

  3. Hmmm…okay I’ll give this a shot….
    1.Step into a world:KRS-ONE(Puffdaddy remix)
    2.Fades ‘em all:Jamal(Pete Rock remix)
    3.Scenario:A tribe called Quest(U.K. remix)
    4.Slow Down:Brand Nubian(Pete Rock Newromix,yeah don’t fix it if it ain’t broke)

that’s what I got for now.

  4. congrats to BEP for makin primo sound like doo-doo,not many could manage that feat

  5. There’s a Marley Marl remix of Paula Abdul’s ‘Straight Up’ (complete with a Biz Markie sample). The 45 King remixed Madonna too didn’t he. Presumably a house remix.

  6. Oh there’s a Gang Starr remix of Espiritu’s ‘Bonita MaƱana’ (they were a UK poppy clubby band).

  7. Insane…

SWV had this all-star remix of “You’re The One” with the most random line-up ever: Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, Smoothe Da Hustla & Trigger, and Mr. Cheeks. This was around summer ’96, and it just seems like they pieced together as many hot-at-the-moment rappers as they could.

  8. I just copped that Nine Yards 12” on the strength of Large Pro. A waste of dough I realize now

  9. i heard this roxanne/superfreak mashup that was amazing dope one time, i guess you could call it a remix, they would go from sting singing about how he wants roxanne to stop being a hoe and then rick james would be like, that hoe is ill as aids, r.i.p. rick james

  10. one that had me giving the WTF face was the mixes that Bjork did for ATCQ’s “Stressed Out.” but they weren’t that bad, i guess.

and R. Jones is buggin’. Pete Rock’s remix of “Slow Down” is bonkers.
