The beats mannnn its all about the beatttssss!!!…that 2 for the money joint is one of the best hip hop tracks made in the last 5 years & the rest is not up to that standard on this album…AG is my favourite rapper & that live hard joint stomps this in my opinion…& @affex where is ahmed?! his beats are blazing.

it’s a nice album but it could have been iller, i had higher hopes for it but it has grown on me since first listens though. there’s been alotta nice “Golden Age” shit this year, KRS-1/Buckshot, Raekwon, MOP, Blaq Poet and I for one really DO like Rakim’s album. easily better than “18th Letter” and “The Master”.

OB4CL2, OAsis, A&E, Tragedy’s last one, even U-Gods latest LP is dope (if hes Golden Age)

Can someone please give me an example of a recent album from a so-called “Golden Age rapper” that is dope? Even Rakim’s shit sucks.

These rappers need to take a page from BDK’s book and only release random singles every other year instead of trying their hand at making new albums. The results are usually catastrophic at most, and a letdown at least. This album falls under the latter category.

The ironic thing is that AG’s album The Dirty Version is basically a classic, but his Stone’s Throw album was wack. OC been fell off for years now. Why can’t these nigs just release DITC/Wildlife singles?
