TDS REMIXED – THE COMPETITION
We will make a separate announcement on this but we will also be running a remix competition using the TDS acapellas as the main ingredient. We invite all you wannabe producers to get busy with the acapellas and show us what you can do… we will pick the best 4-6 winning entries to be pressed up on a TDS remixes EP and each winner will get a box of records (25) to do with as they please… the remaining sales proceeds will go to the group… we’ve asked some pretty heavy names to have a go at this so why not see if you can hang with the big boys… we’ve also asked TDS to try to recreate their one truly ‘lost’ track, ‘Down on the Corner’, to include on this release as an extra bonus… the contest will run until the end of the year… good luck!

i wish i could step my vinyl game up to that caliber, but just like that juice crew EP i’m gonna have to pass on this one, if you cop this Robbie post the mp3s so those of us that can’t afford the vinyls can still hear what we’re missing, same goes for those Juice Crew tracks if possible

I might grab the whole package(pauuuuuse), depending on if I still have enough after I pay my rent Monday. Looks real dope. These limited vinyls are usually crazily overpriced, but at least with DWG and VA, you’re getting more than you get with OLU.
These dudes know how to hook shit up lovely.

@ gstatty – its £15 for a CD/DVD package including shipping to anywhere on the planet, the artists are not rich and greatly appreciate every purchase made.

@ verge – much props dude, a lot of work went into this one!

I’ve got to start by saying props to DWG, you guys put together some great projects (even if you never put anything else out, the fact you got something from Godfather Don was amazing) Certainly the CD/DVD is a step in the right direction in terms of affordability (to be honest, sadly it’s simply a more realistic format these days to produce from a price perspective) One question I do have however, are there any thoughts about offering any payment options other than paypal ? For instance, how about a few copies being made available through an amazon store front ? On a different note, any more details about the remix competition ? (are there acapellas for all the tracks on the CD ?) Peace.

Bam! That’s the shit, I’m £55 lighter… Doh. Props Dave & the DWG team.. 1up.

Comment by Disorda 04.04.10 @

@ CrateDigga78 – we got the acca’s for everything apart from “scratch reaction” and “whats this world…”

99% of people use paypal but we’ll take cash, checks, precious metals or the like as payment – just email tdsmob@diggers… if you are interested.

We are currently looking to get some copies in stores, and will be using various means to spread the word, hadn’t considered Amazon – could be an option!

@ Disorda – cheers!

Those that support vinyl and are serious record collectors will think nothing of the price…£30 for a 12″ that is only 350 pressed? C’mon! How can anyone question the loot? Besides this shiz doubles in value as soon as they are sold out!

I’d buy the vinyl/bundle and not pay my rent if I had to! But then I love T.D.S Mob that much….

Money in the bank? Who cares… Incredible records on my shelves..? Word up.

Let’s spread the word so DWG sell out of ALL the vinyl and the CD/DVD’s…!

Drop some loot and support the project!

Props to DWG again, again and again…!

in a vinyl enthusiasts vision of things, THE only realistic format is vinyl, period. I did get the cd’s only because of the additional video footage, the music, however, must be on analog media.

I am proud to be part of this, even if it means I need to work a couple of extra shifts, I don’t care.

Thank you DWG and everybody involved

DWG deliver the goods yet again! An incredible package for the money. Sorry, if you aren’t prepared to pay a measly £15 for the CD/DVD (and support the artists directly) then you don’t deserve to call yourself a fan of music or hip hop culture.
