Sticking with the D.I.T.C. theme, here’s the entire SBX! film for anybody who missed it this on DVD, courtesy of SpineTV and BBPBX:

Spine Magazine brings to light Jun Ohki’s 2005 short film SBX!: Holding Down The Tradition, a cult classic set in the heart of hip-hop and featuring unearthed battle footage from the late eighties. Part long form music video and part documentary, SBX! stars a powerful line-up of hip-hop figures and underground celebrities, among them Show & AG, Lord Finesse, Percee P, Party Arty, D-Flow, Edan and Dave Tompkins.

DIRECTOR: Jun Okhi aka Zunbug Turskee

PRODUCERS: Jun Ohki, Kohji Maruyama & Andre Barnes

R.I.P. Party Arty…

@Benson: Fair call, but it’s still worth buying for the complete footage of Finesse vs. Percee-P, complete with annoying ice-cream van.

Were these original Paul Nice produced tracks also available on the soundtrack or something ?
I mean not heard in the movie but separate.

Thanks for clearing that up – few joints were pretty ill on there…
By the way, what happened to Paul Nice – his last MySpace update is from 2008 or smth… no production credits or anything since that Jay-Z remix album and that other remix CD he had – that man had beats!

I think Percee P won the first round, but Lord Finesse won the rematch!

Blanco, there was a bit of this going around the net about Paul Nice a couple years back:

A lot of bridges have been burnt, I suspect.
