Prefer this beat to the original. Funny, on the original his delivery sounds quite like Nas. On this one he kinda flows more like G Rap.
Dope track anyway.
Comment by KQ 12.01.10 @Fame is the man but the overall feel of this joint isn’t touching the OG version
Comment by FACTUAL 12.01.10 @You gotta do a top ten Rappers with lisps list, he’d easily be top five.
Comment by gstatty 12.02.10 @word. one of the few consistent. d.o.d.15th is effin dope.great taste in beats (&cuts!) and the flow is still ill.
Comment by swordfish 12.03.10 @Don’t think this beat goes to well with AZ, but he’s always been a favourite. Still think he hasn’t put out the perfect lp he’s capable of though. Although if it never happened in the 90s I doubt it’s going to happen now.
Comment by silent minority 12.03.10 @This shit is cool and all, but yeah, it ain’t even coming close to the original.
I do like Lil Fame’s beats though, including this one…
Comment by Shaun D. aka Wicked 12.04.10 @Truly, that AZ Do Or Die reedition w/ dem remixes, me not feelin it. It took me years to find the original vinyl of that album & shit is timeless, so when I hear some ol AZ with some updated beats, its juss not right… ok tho but the original prevails!
