Here’s another list to annoy everybody. I managed to sneak Percee-P, Lord Finesse, RA The Rugged Man, Big L, Ras Kass, Pharoahe Monch and Kool G Rap in to the chart to offset the expected Lil’ Wayne, Jay-Z and Kanye content, which is a victory of sorts.

‘Complex’ lists are pretty much useless unless you’ve contributed. Are they even still doing physical copies anymore?

Yeah I wrote all the blurbs on this one and contributed ideas for which tracks to include. It’s a group effort though.

Once in a blue moon Complex lists is not 100 % useless. When Robbie blessed them.

Uncommon Valor was based on R.A.’s father’s experiences in ‘Nam, not his uncle’s.

Total bullshit. Inspektah Deck is in the 40s for Above the Clouds, but Nicki Minaj is top 20???? Get the fuck out of here.

Signs that a shift of real hip hop can prevail in this music industry!! :)

i think they had a list for guest verses for the year, and it was 100% g.o.o.d. music, young money, keef chief’s gang, or black hippy (who aren’t so bad at least). i can’t fuck with that site, it’s like hot 97 daytime…no, mtv daytime, for yuppies, but with more adverts. but i am really bored at work so…

Robbie, they really need cats like you on their staff full time. BTW, how in the world Snoop edges out Nas for best guest verse? Snoop wasn’t a “guest”, he was all over “The Chronic” but whatever. A good one that got missed was Extra P’s verse on Tribe’s “Keep It Rollin’”. “Queens represent, buy the album when I drop it…” Too bad that particular album dropped over a decade after the fact.
