Following the blueprint of the first Port Authority LP, Marco Polo is releasing an complimentary mixtape of material that couldn’t be included on his second solo project for whatever reason. Here’s a vaulted Rakim track from 2009 to provide a first look at Newport Authority 2, before Port Authority 2 drops in spring.

Ironic that this track was cut from The Seventh Seal. It would actually have been the best track on the album had they left it on there.

Comment by OnkelMichael 03.09.13 @Dope fuckin joint! Marco Polo has been one of my favorite producers since 2005 although he hit the scene in 2002. And last week on my radio show out here in the Bay Area, I did a 3 hour Marco Polo Produced Special 2002-2012 of all his produced joints from those years. The show turned out great as I spun everything off original vinyl along with a few songs played off original cd’s. I’ll have the audio of that uploaded soon so stay tuned… https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BEgVAUWCEAAP0UG.jpg:large (photo during the Marco Polo special on The Wicked Takeover on MHz 90.1fm KZSU Stanford)
