It’s a good album, ALC can get away with anything he likes, but for fucksakes don’t act like you’re making next level beats by copying him and putting LESS WORK IN.
“You make beats in 39 minutes? Thirty years later shit don’t sound finished.”

@lair who said that?

There’s still a bit of artistry and production skills in the shit alc is doing, some of the reloaded beats the samples pitched up then no subs are added shits just tinny. Ive noticed in some of Alcs stuff there’s subs and the drums are layered but it’s all just down alot more than it once would of been. Carry on alchemist. Looking fwd to the prodigy one.

@GX i believe the quote is from a Dynas track, circa the “Beyond Real” DJ Spinna days.

I was more aiming the “less work” comment at people who think raw loops are some genius shit. Just don’t come in with some half-assed “raw” style that means you looped something and that’s it. I’ve made beats like that by mistake.

As i said, ALC can do whatever he likes, he’s put the work in and his output recently has been almost non-stop.
