The Combat Jack Show – The Big Daddy Kane Episode

This oughta be good…

“Kane goes deep with his history, what he thinks about Mr. Cee, how he produced the majority of ‘Long Live The Kane’ with no credits, how Doug E Fresh taught him how to rock the crowd, how some cats from The Juice Crew wasn’t fuxin with him, how he really wanted to battle KRS-One, what Madonna smells like, how he shopped a young Jay Z with no success, why he started wearing purple silks and such…”

Hold up!! Kane said, out of his own mouth, that 45 King produced Set It Off?? And Kane produced Raw?? Wow…hell of an interview…

Crazy dope interview. Every self-respecting rap fan should set aside 2 hours of their life to checking this out [well maybe fast-forward through Just Blaze’s drunken phone call].

Dope interview. Its always funny how cats just scratch the surface of naming and talking tracks. In such a deep catalog how the hell is everyone only talking about set it off, half stepping, and warm it up. Props to just for at least asking about how u get a record deal. Thats why unkut has the best interviews imo. I dont think there knowledge of kane went any deeper then the “main” singles with kind of sucked..

Also, Kane needed to stop being so humble…he didn’t learn ish from Jay Z, that’s his nephew and Jaz-O’s son…Just Blaze needs to remove Jay’s balls from his mouth, he is always riding his johnson…
