I’m a big fan of Roc, but I’m a little disappointed with this release. Was expecting much better.

Yeah this shit is ehhhhh. Expected better production given the names that are on it. I need to give it a proper listen but on the flick-through this sounds pretty weak. Hopefully Marci Beaucoup will be up to his usual standard.

Give it a few spins. Trust me, this shit is immaculate.

Wouldn’t say it sucks but Roc– like KA– is so so much better than a fucking mixtape rapper it seems an unnecessary distraction his Art.

Also, stop fronting, Alchemist is a fucking hack.

Robbie must have the cd, rocking at the basement. this 128 sucks..

This is great stuff. Better than every album out.

Robbie NO – the mixing is also crap…sounds like a a weak Demorun for Reloaded. Not feeling the pimp themed samples, except the EV joint and German V’s. Reloaded had way iller samples…This was the tape he supposedly wanted to drop before Reloaded with a few extras I Guess.

Rich – you can choose the quality you want @bandcamp flac 320 mp3 blah etc. I suppose you know how to use Google.

Before I check out the wordsmith, I want to know if the drums are back?

Nerds getting salty about the mixing. jesus.

This shit is good.

Yeah man I’m one of the nerds that punches your favorite rapper in the face if he has to.

Nerds and non-nerds alike should get salty about mixing. The sound quality on too much rap music is dogshit. Mixing, mastering etc are important skills that too many knuckleheads– rappers included– have forsaken for expediency & Dr Dre headphones (which suck).

Compare even a mediocre rap album 1988-2000 to this shit today, only exception being when scumbags tried to cram way too much music on one 12″ record & it all sounded squashed.

Roc can and has done better so I’ll take this as a blip and hey, how much extra for FLAC and NO Action Bronson whining?

When I was on the bandcamp yesterday it was name your price. Now it is 7 bucks – what greedy bastards…fuck that label anyways…dogshit

Roc never fails, the madlib and evidence tracks are dope too.

Its decent, its not an album just an appetizer. He even used Master P’s bassline on Ice Cream Man.

I had to take a break on jammin blue chips 2. Been on this ever since.
