Hitman Howie Tee got his start as part of CD III, before laying down the demo version of ‘Roxanne Roxanne’ for UTFO and helping out Full Force with some material, before lending his talents to Whistle, Chubb Rock, Special Ed, the Real Roxanne and Little Shawn. Later in his career he branched out into reggae (Vicious, Patra) and created pop (Color Me Badd, Madonna, EMF). Here are some of his more memorable moments when he was in hardcore rap mode.

Is that image a scan from an old Source Mag circa 92 ? Rings a bell somewhere in the old grey matter.
@oneam: Yessir, I couldn’t play myself by using that same old pic of Howie from the Real Roxanne single.
These comps you put together are the best introduced me to a lot of great music I never would have heard otherwise.
Chubb Rock was underrated in his day. Listening to him now his flow is still nice, doesn’t sound too dated.
You’re killing it with these compilations, good work. Let’s have a moment of a silence for the Bang Zoom break https://youtu.be/2PezetW6o1s

@Toiletries
Been telling people for years nah it aint a go-go record. Was wondering how long it would take before someone revealed the break. Gotta give major dues to the Hitman for digging out that sample back in 86 some don gorgon beat science right there.
No Seeborn and Puma?
@Robbie I’d even go as far add to say the issue with heavy D on the cover Blue tee and black cap. Third bass inset.
@Caesar agree his flow in a sense was kind of Awkward to me but it worked. Whenever I hear howie tee I think of chubb rock. One of those ‘good combinations’.
@Awkward: They were on the ‘One Shot Wonders’ comp the other week so I didn’t want to double up.
@oneam: Queen Latifah cover.
@oneam
‘Good combinations’ right on.
Nice work robbie. Is Larry smith next?
Somehow only just noticing the Full Force diss on “Look But Don’t Touch”
